Striker leaves K's on Monday, signs for Enfield on Tuesday
Yesterday Kingstonian announced that forward Muhammadu Faal had left the club, stating that he had 'insisted that he was no longer willing to play for Kingstonian FC.' The player later released a statement of his own giving an entirely different version of events, but whatever the truth may be, he has now signed for Enfield Town and may even make his debut at Bognor Regis Town tonight.
Muhammadu has turned out for the K's fourteen times this season, scoring three goals, but has been most often used by Leigh Dynan from the bench, so will undoubtedly be looking for a starting role at Donkey Lane. Last season he turned out for the club eight times, scoring seven goals after signing from Dulwich Hamlet. He'd scored four goals for the pink and blues before the move.
Here's Town's story of the arrival of their new striker.
