Family affair at Blues

Ryman League Maldon & Tiptree's backroom team will have a family flavour this season after the latest addition to their staff.

Ex-Hornchurch and Leyton left-back Paul Golby, pictured, the older brother of skipper Glen at the Ryman North's Blues, has been appointed as a coach at Park Drive.

Manager Terry Spillane has already brought in former Southend Manor boss Russell Faulkner as his assistant to replace the departed Jody Brown.

The Blues also have a new first-team coach in former Manor assistant and Canvey Island reserve-team manager John Brandon.
