Fans urged to get on the buses!

Peacehaven & Telscombe's officials have teamed up with the Ryman South club’s local community transport operator to launch a free service to get fans to and from games.

From the middle of February, Magpies fans will be able to hop on buses provided by Community Transport for the Lewes Area (CTLA), who will provide transport on matchdays.

The first service will start on Saturday 15 February when the league leaders host Faversham. Delighted officials say the new scheme is designed to help the local community get more involved at the Sports Park by making their ground more accessible to fans, young and old alike, who can’t drive and struggle to walk to games.

A route around the Peacehaven & Telscombe area is due to be published next week by CTLA following consultations with the club and officials are fans are being urged take advantage to ensure it continues running next season.

CTLA’s General Manager Derek Barnett said: "We are very much looking forward to working with Peacehaven Football Club. We have exciting plans to help support the club in their promotion campaign and all being well continue that support into next season. We would like to hear from anyone who wishes to use the service so we can make sure that the route comes near to you, so please get in touch."
