Folkestone Invicta's officials have turned to the movies to remind their fans that their eagerly anticipated Boxing Day derby with neighbours Hythe Town is a lunchtime time kick-off.

With the festive fixture between Shepway’s two senior football clubs taking place at the Fullicks Stadium for the first time in three years and kicking off at 12pm, officials are using the poster from 1950s Hollywood Western High Noon starring Gary Cooper, pictured, to remind supporters of the early start.

When Invicta last played Hythe Town on Boxing Day at home they romped to an 8-0 victory under former manager Scott Porter. With former Folkestone favourite Tim Dixon in charge of their opponents and a number of former Invicta players still in their ranks, a bumper crowd is expected for the Ryman South clash.

* Whitstable Town's officials are also hoping for a big Boxing Day crowd when they take on Herne Bay a few hours later in the only other Ryman South fixture scheduled. The Oystermen's clash at The Belmont kicks off at 3pm.
