Barham to Barnet!

Borough hotshot becomes a Bee

Greenwich Borough striker- and Bostik South golden boot winner- Jack Barham today signed for National League Barnet.

Barham, who found the back of the net 37 times last season, previously had trials with Millwall, Newport County and Cambridge United but despite offers to ply his trade at a higher level decided to stay at the DGS Marine Stadium until the end of last season in an attempt to help his side to promotion. Barnet manager John Still, speaking to the Bees website, stated:

"I think supporters will like him because he has got that non-stop action, he won't stop working and his record of scoring goals is very good. I hope we've found a young player here that will progress, go onto greater things and score lots of goals for us."

Given what we've seen of Jack in the Bostik League, there must be a good chance that Still's hopes come to fruition.
