Bowers bring back Chafer

A return to the Len Salmon for Urchins keeper

Bowers and Pitsea, newly promoted to the Bostik Premier Division, have strengthened their backline by confirming an 'agreement in principle' which will see the return to the Len Salmon of their former keeper Callum Chafer.

Chafer was perhaps the first name on the teamsheet for AFC Hornchurch last season, turning out for the Urchins on a rather incredible fifty six occasions as they finished their first season back in the Bostik Premier in fifteenth place- as well as reaching the Final of the Velocity Trophy.

Chafer made forty six appearances for Bowers in his last season at the Len Salmon, as they finished in third place but lost out to Canvey Island in the playoffs.
