Carshalton show care to those who care

Robins give free tickets to NHS staff

Staff from the Epsom and St Helier NHS Trust have undoubtedly had a hard time of late, given the NHS is going through what even the Health Secretary has described as its "worst ever winter crisis." But, thanks to Carshalton Athletic, they have at least been given the chance of some relaxation away from work, as the club have offered them free family season tickets. Mind you, with the Robins pushing for promotion, we’re not sure just how relaxing the final six home matches of the season will be!

The Trust, which looks after Epsom, St Helier and Sutton Hospitals and offers healthcare to almost half a million members of the public in south west London and north east Surrey, has tweeted its thanks to the club for their kind offer, which has been emailed to all of its staff. The Robins, in response, have confirmed that they made the gesture ‘in support of the fantastic NHS staff.’

The clubs next home match is on 24th February, when Thamesmead Town are the visitors. They will then face Molesey, Guernsey, South Park and Whyteleafe, before VCD Athletic bring the campaign to a close on Saturday 28th April- unless, of course, the small matter of the playoffs extend the season somewhat.
