Deals for Bracknell Town, Bury Town, Cray Wanderers, Tonbridge Angels and Ware

It seems that yesterday was Transfer Thursday, as a number of our clubs trumpeted their new signings across social media. Here's a round up:

We start at Bracknell Town, where yesterdays news was the signing of Wealdstone defender Matt Day. Matt, who previously turned out for Hungerford Town, ended last season as a mainstay of the Slough Town defence as they earned promotion to National League South. More on that here.

Bury Town brought in a midfielder, highly rated Mildenhall Town man Jake Chambers Shaw- and you can read about that here. Jake was expected to sign for Lowestoft Town, but when that deal fell through the attraction of Ram Meadow was too great to turn down.

Next up- as you can see, we’re doing this in alphabetical order- is another midfielder, this time signing for Cray Wanderers. The Wands new man comes from fellow play-off Semi Finalists Greenwich Borough, and is former Charlton Athletic midfielder Bradley Pritchard. You can get more on that deal at the club website, here.

Tonbridge Angels, not to buck the trend, also brought in a midfielder- although this one will be familiar to the Longmead faithful, as Tom Beere turned out for Angels for the first few weeks of last season before moving to Leatherhead. More on that here.

Finally Ware- whose new pitch is coming is coming along nicely, as you can see from the rather lopsided photograph here- announced the return of midfielder (had to be a midfielder, didn’t it?) Albert Adu, most recently found plying his trade in Belgium after originally leaving Ware for the Faroe Islands. Freezing cold followed by constant rain- he’s undoubtedly retuned to Hertfordshire for the sunshine! More on that here.
