Mead bring in a trio, another Hawk becomes an Angel- and a K's defender heads to the Sussex seaside

Three new signings for Thamesmead, Tonbridge stage another raid on Harlow, and Jahmal decides that he wants some sea air!

Thamesmead Town have announced a trio of signings- a keeper, a defender and a midfielder. We're rather disappointed they didn't sign a striker too, just to ensure symmetry, but you can't have everything!

First in is keeper Will Godmon, who turned out 48 times for Hythe Town last season as the Cannons were pipped at the Playoff post. He is followed by centre back John Coker, who made 25 Sittingbourne appearances in 17/18 before injury got in the way, scoring four goals and picking up a red card against Cray Wanderers. Finally, winger Matt Bodkin signs after turning out 42 times for Bostik Premier Division Margate. Matt spent most of his career at Welling United, Thurrock and Maidstone United.

Tonbridge Angels decided that one Hawk wasn't enough, adding to their signing of Alex Read by bringing in Jared Small. Harlow Town named Small their Players, Managers and Supporters Player of the Year, so that's two very large holes in their attack that they will now need to fill, and two signings that will have the Longmead faithful feeling very optimistic about the new season. Finally (for now!), Hastings United have announced the signing of Kingstonian defender Jahmal Howlett-Mundle for an undisclosed fee. Jahmal turned out ten times for the K's in the Premier Division last season, as well as sixteen times for Bostik South Division Whyteleafe. Read more here.
