Sittingbourne couldn't take their chance to overtake Carshalton Athletic in the South Division this afternoon, as they could only draw at Thamesmead Town- and they needed a last gasp equaliser to do that. The away side took the lead through Mobalaji Dawodu in the sixteenth minute, only for Ellis Green to draw Mead level just before the break. The home side then went ahead through Scott Kinch, but just as Town were about to celebrate a victory which would have lifted them to seventh up popped David Smith to level matters. Sittingbourne end the day in sixth place.
In the days other match, Corinthian Casuals travelled to Guernsey whilst the supporters who couldn't make the trip made the journey to the pub- the Cricketers in Chessington to be precise- where the game was being shown on a big screen, kick off at beer-o-clock. They are probably still there, celebrating after Casuals moved up to tenth with a goal eight minutes before the end from Jerson Dos Santos.
There are three Monday Night matches. In the Premier Division a resurgent Kingstonian entertain a Metropolitan Police side who seem to still be struggling for consistency.
In the North Division Aveley, who fell to an unlucky defeat at home to Heybridge Swifts on Saturday, entertain Tilbury, who will be looking to bounce back from being on the receiving end of a Bury Town hammering. Haringey Borough have the chance to go top with victory over visitors Romford.
All matches kick off at 7.45 PM.
