Supreme Engraving Awards UK- Performance of the Month, October 2018

Our victors in the October Performance of the Month Awards are as follows:

Premier Division: Lewes travelled to an AFC Hornchurch side who had lost only one League match all season- and gave them an absolute hiding. Goals from Leon Redwood, Steve Brinkhurst (yes, you read that correctly, it isn’t a misprint!), Omarr Lawson, Ronnie Conlon and Jonte Smith saw the Rooks leave with a 5-1 victory; a win which is undoubtedly deserving of this accolade, despite some tough competition. Congratulations to all at the Dripping Pan.

North Division: Perhaps we should rename the North Division Award after AFC Sudbury, as they collect it for the second month in a row. Last month they got it for defeating Bognor Regis Town, this month it’s for their 4-0 victory over a previously flying Maldon & Tiptree. The Jammers were rocked by conceding four goals in thirty-three first half minutes, Callum Harrison (2), Billy Holland and Phil Kelly doing the damage.

South Central Division: Hayes & Yeading United had a magnificent October, and they started it in the best possible way, as the Tangerines came to the Skyex and were comprehensively skinned! A hat trick for Scott Bridges was added to by Toby Little, Josh Chamberlain, Duncan Culley and Scott Donnelly as the home side eventually won 7-1.

South East Division: When Corinthian-Casuals arrived at Culver Road in the FA Trophy they were in good form, with three wins from their previous four matches. It counted for nothing, however, as Dom Di Paola’s Horsham side walloped three goals past them to record a famous victory. Joe Shelley, Rob O'Toole and Jack Brivio did the damage, recording a marvellous victory for the Hornets in what would go on to be a marvellous month.
