Two new Hawks, one more Miller- and a Rook is sent to Coventry

Whitehawk bring in some Isthmian experience, Aveley announce a sixth signing this week- and Lewes midfielder moves to League One

Bostik Premier returnees Whitehawk today announced their first two new signings of the summer- one a familiar face to Hawks fans, the other familiar to the rest of us! First up is James Fraser, who was part of the Hawks midfield when they won promotion to National League South back in 2013, and who started last season at Worthing after winning promotion with Bognor Regis Town during the previous campaign. Next is another player with a Worthing connection, and another midfielder- Brannon O'Neill. who left the Rebels thirteen months ago and spent last season at Dorking Wanderers and Burgess Hill Town.

Another set of Premier Division newbies will be searching for a new midfielder- but for the best possible reason, as Lewes have confirmed that Bouwe Bosma has signed for League One side Coventry City. Bosma, who turned out 37 times as the Rooks won promotion from Bostik League South last season, attracted the attention of a number of professional scouts but has decided to swap red and black for sky blue. Read more on that move here.

Finally- although given the number of signings they've announced this week, it may be premature to use that word- Aveley have confirmed the return to their squad of Brentwood Town defender Harry Gibbs. We say return as Harry was the Millers Young Player of the Year in 2016/17. Read more on that move here.
