Gate bring in a striker...or two!

By Ian Townsend

Margate bring in Elite Academy forward- and then another from the Daggers

Margate haven't won a match since December 1st, but with a narrow defeat to league-leaders Dorking Wanderers and a draw with an improving Tonbridge Angels side in their last two matches their form is showing every sign of improving. Fans at Hartsdown Park will be hoping that tomorrow's visit of Brightlingsea Regent will be the start of a run which will lift them away from the lower reaches of the Premier Division table- and now they have two new strikers to help then win.

The first new arrival is Jordan Ababio, who joins the club from the Soccer Elite Football Academy. Jordan was recently on trial with English League One side Southend United, will go into the squad for tomorrow's match- which will be a McDonald's Family Fun Day, the fun starting at 12 PM before the game with Regent kicks off at 3.

Also arriving at Hartsdown Park is Noel Leighton from Dagenham and Redbridge. Leighton joined the Daggers from Millwall in the summer.
