Canvey Island

Canvey Island's fans can look forward to hot-shot Bradley Woods-Garness adding to his tally after the striker signed a new contract to stay at the Ryman League's Premier Division club.

The forward resigned for the 2013-14 campaign on Wednesday after scoring 32 goals in 60 appearances since moving to the Gulls.

Last season, Wood-Garness finished as the second highest scorer in the Ryman Premier and was named 'Supporters' Player of the Year' for his exploits in front of goal.

Gulls manager Danny Heale won't be short of firepower up front with Jay Curran, Woods-Garness and recent signings of Spencer Bellotti and Simon Thomas now all on board.

Central midfielder Mitchell Gilbey, keeper Ashlee Jones and winger Dean Mason have all left Canvey in recent days.
