Hartsdown hosts 'speed-gating' for business

Ryman Premier Margate hosted its first 'Speed Gating' event for local businesses at Hartsdown Park on Thursday night.

Instead of running a standard networking night, club officials introduced local firms to the fast paced way of making new connections in the business world, with delegates given only 60 seconds to introduce themselves and their companies.

The event at the club's Thanet Cars Sports Bar kicked off at 6.30pm and was hosted by Bob Laslett, Margate's chairman, pictured.

Laslett, the founder of Chaucer Consulting, gave a presentation on best business practices after 35 years of running successful global companies and sitting on many board and associations.
