Hastings bring in Premier Division defender

U's strengthen by bringing in K's centre back

Hastings United, who sit in second place in the Bostik South East Division, have strengthened ahead of Saturday's match at Herne Bay with the addition of Kingstonian centre back Temi Eweka.

Eweka has made only six appearances for Leigh Dynan's side this season, most recently in the Surrey Senior Cup win over Carshalton Athletic. He signed from VCD Athletic in November, and was in the starting eleven for victories against Margate, Wingate & Finchley and Enfield Town as well as a thumping by Haringey Borough- and since that defeat has been confined to the bench apart from in the County Cup. He was previously a graduate of the Dartford Academy.

Last season he turned out three times as a substitute whilst on loan to Leatherhead, and made eight appearances at VCD.
