Hawks catch a Mackerel Man...

...and let two leave

Whitehawk haven’t had the best of seasons so far, picking up only three victories. That said, recent form has been more promising- with perhaps the exception of a New Years Day hammering at home to Bognor- and manager Jude Macdonald is hoping to help continue that progress with a handful of changes to his squad.

In on a months loan comes Worthing midfielder Rhyle Ovenden. Rhyle will be no stranger to supporters at the Enclosed Ground, as he actually played for the Hawks last season before moving along the road. He’s found game time hard to come by at Woodside Road this season, making only seven starts and featuring mainly on the bench, but will undoubtedly be required as Hawks take a trip to London to face leaders Haringey Borough on Saturday.

Tommy Cooney and Matt Drake have reportedly left the club.
