Hendon

Former Chelsea and Leeds United defender Michael Duberry signed for Hendon ahead of their 4-0 win on the opening day of the Ryman League campaign.

The 37-year-old former England under-21 defender was at Oxford United last season, pictured. He's been training with the Premier Division club's squad throughout pre-season and Hendon manager Gary McCann signed Duberry in time to include him in his squad for the win at Thamesmead Town.

Duberry has also played for Stoke City, Reading, Wycombe Wanderers and St Johnstone before signing for Oxford in 2011.

Hendon's manager has also added to his goalkeeping options with Cameron Inch arriving last week from Spartan South Midlands League neighbours Hillingdon Borough.

The 20-year-old has appeared in friendlies for the Greens over the past three summers and has registered to play competitively for the first time.
