Hertford appoint joint-managers

The search for Fisher's replacement is a short one

Yesterday we brought you the news that Hertford Town were searching for their fourth manager of the season, after Adam Fisher announced his departure after only seven weeks in charge. Well they didn't search for long!

This morning it has been announced that the club will have joint managers until the end of the season, with the job of keeping them in the Bostik South Central Division being entrusted to Tommy Wade and Max Mitchell. Tony Faulkner comes in as head coach.

Wade is a Hertford legend, playing for the club for many seasons including for the first couple of months of this campaign. He has also turned out for both Grays Athletic and Ware this season- indeed he came on as a substitute in victory over FC Romania last weekend- and may be tempted to throw himself back into the fray immediately. His co-manager will be remembered by Bostik League supporters for his time at Cheshunt and Aveley, amongst others.
