He's no Angel, but Gabriel is back!

Ralston Gabriel returns to Haringey Borough

When he announced, via social media earlier this week, that he was leaving National League South St Albans City, we joked with striker Ralston Gabriel that he might like to return to Haringey Borough. Fast forward three days and he did exactly that- to the delight of the fans at Coles Park.

Gabriel, who scored 22 goals for Borough last season as they soared to promotion from the North Division, moved to Clarence Park in the summer and was an instant success- indeed he is still their leading scorer, with twelve goals. But recently he'd been on the bench, and reluctantly decided that he needed a new challenge. So City's loss gives Borough the chance to add to their firepower- and he started on the bench as Borough defeated Folkestone Invicta yesterday, coming on as a second half substitute.
