Keeper's win completes clean sweep

By David Watters

Grant Smith completed a clean sweep for Bognor Regis Town in the Ryman's monthly awards when he was unveiled alongside Folkestone Invicta's Tim Roberts and Tilbury's Clarke Bogard as one of January's Precision Goalkeeping ‘Golden Gloves' winners.

The Rocks already had plenty to celebrate on Saturday after Smith kept another clean sheet in a 0-0 in the FA Trophy at National League South Sutton United's Gander Green Lane.

As well as earning a second chance next week to pull off another giant-killing, manager Jamie Howell was named as one of January's Macron and Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month winners.

On top of that, Howell's side earned Macron's latest Club of the Month accolade for another display in the FA Trophy, a 1-0 win over Altrincham at Nyewood Lane.
