K's ordered to replay

By Peter Butcher

AN appeal by Kingstonian against the League’s decision to order the abandoned match at Whitehawk to be replayed was heard today by an FA Appeal Board.

The appeal by the club was dismissed and Kingstonian were ordered to pay costs of £150.

The original decision of the league therefore stands and the match will be replayed with Whitehawk paying Kingstonian's travelling costs.

The original fixture took place on November 6 and was abandoned after 76 minutes because of floodlight failure with K's leading 2-0.
