League falls silent for terror victims

By David Watters

The Ryman League's fans, players and officials remembered the victims of the London terror attacks on Saturday with a minute's silence before kick-off.

Five people were killed on Wednesday afternoon, including police officer Keith Palmer, and more than 50 were injured in the capital's bloodiest incident of terrorism since the tube and bus bombings of July 7 2005.

The players of Heybridge Swifts and Ware are pictured before kick-off at Scraley Road in Essex observing the league-wide tribute which took place at all 36 fixtures in the Ryman Premier, Ryman North and Ryman South after being announced on Friday.

Below are images from the tribute to remember the dead and injured in the Westminster attack at Hastings United's Pilot Field before their 5-1 win over Molesey in Ryman South.
