Lewes bring in two

Just before kick off yesterday- two new Rooks

Lewes quietly announced two new arrivals at the Dripping Pan just before kick off at Carshalton Athletic yesterday.

First in- and immediately into the side- came right back Mohamed Diallo, who signed from Championship side Stoke City. He's played for City in their Under 18 and Under 23 sides, but was released from his contract by the Potters at the end of January by mutual consent. He was highly rated and a number of City fans expressed surprise at his departure- which will be music to the ears of Rooks fans.

He was joined in the squad- and eventually, on the pitch- by former Aldershot player George Tuson-Firth. An Under 23 squad member with the Shots, he has also turned out for AFC Portchester and Salisbury this season, and previously played in Australia for Manley FC. He isn't an Aussie, however, so Kylie Minogue will not need to be added to the Rooks playlist!
