Live shows were big hit with fans

The Ryman Round Up Show is looking forward to returning for a fifth season of news and debate in August after ending the last campaign with record numbers of listeners and viewers!

Launched with the backing of the Ryman League during the 2013-14 season as an online football phone-in and podcast, the show attracted more than 50,000 fans over the second half of last term after returning in November following a major revamp, including the addition of its own channel on YouTube to broadcast live on Facebook.

Since switching to Monday nights from Thursdays with former Leatherhead boss Jimmy Bullard as its first star guest, individual episodes of the two hour show regularly attracted between 2,000 and 3,500 combined hits from fans, players and officials listening to the weekly podcasts on Audioboom and iTunes or watching live between 7 and 9pm on Facebook.

Hosted by founder David Square, VCD Athletic manager Keith McMahon and ex-Brentford and current Thurrock star Glenn Poole and recorded at the Harlow Arena when not on the road, the end of season 'wrap' show and a series of specials on key figures around the league in April broke all records with more than 3,500 viewers and listeners.

Currently rebranded as the Isthmian Round-up Show, the show is likely to change name again this summer when the league's new title sponsor is unveiled following the end of the record-breaking two decade long partnership with Ryman Stationers.
