Loan star makes quick return

Horsham

Horsham have re-signed midfielder Troy Wlliams on loan from Ryman Premier side Grays Athletic.

Williams had returned to parent club last week after a spending month in Ryman South at Horsham.

The 20-year-old former Tooting & Mitcham United and Merstham player featured in seven games at Gorings Mead, coming off the bench to score on his debut against Hythe Town before starting six.

Grays manager Jody Brown believes Williams has potential and was happy to send him back to West Sussex on loan.

Brown said: "I think Troy has technical qualities and could develop into a good midfield player. He's competing with some very experienced players here at Grays so it's best for his own development to get out and play competitive games at Horsham."
