Long serving Invicta PA man steps down

Terry hangs up his mic after 15 years

Folkestone Invicta have announced that no more will the Fullicks Stadium echo to the dulcet tones of Terry Hardie. Terry, who has been Invicta's man with the mic for fifteen years, has decided to hang it up with immediate effect.

Invicta media man Mick Cork stated;

"Terry has done a terrific job for many years, and in a very professional and unbiased way- which cannot be said for some of the excitable souls running the public address at one or two of the grounds we've been to!

I hope this won't the last time we see him at the ground, or indeed at some of our away matches and, on behalf of the Supporters Club, I'd like to thank Terry again and wish him and his family good health and good luck for the future.

We fully realise that Kevin Daly - Terry's assistant/stand-in for the last few seasons - has what appears to be an increasing number of commitments all over the south east and even further afield as as such might not be able to step up, but on the plus side we have had two volunteers to take over the role.

We'll announce Terry's replacement in the near future."
