Magpies are big in Portugal!

Dereham Town's new signing Jake Imrie has had a far greater impact than the club would ever have expected- and he hasn't even kicked a ball in anger yet!

The defender, who joined the Magpies this week, took part in an introductory video wearing an FC Porto shirt- and this quickly spread across the world-wide web, as Porto fans both in Portugal and nearer home took to social media to praise his choice of shirt and wish him well. The former Champions League Winners then got into the act themselves, with clips of the video being shown on Porto TV and news of Jake's fashion choices even being included in the FC Porto daily newsletter.

You can take a look at the video here- and there is no truth in the rumour that future signings will be asked to wear the shirts of Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Juventus just to attract more followers!
