McCann doubles up before cup clash

By David Watters

Hendon manager Gary McCann has strengthened his squad with two new faces ahead of the club's FA Cup clash at Ryman League rivals AFC Sudbury.

Former Cray Wanderers, Leicester City and Ross County defender Ben Frempah signed for the Ryman Premier's Greens on Thursday after spending last season north of the border in the Scottish Championship before being released in the summer.

The 20-year-old could make his debut in the First Qualifying Round clash against the Ryman North's Yellows alongside another new arrival in wide midfielder Aryan Tajbakhsh.

Tajbakhsh, 25, has made the switch from top flight rivals Enfield Town having previously appeared for a number of clubs including Potters Bar Town, Maidenhead United and St Albans City.
