McCann left cursing his luck ...

By David Watters

Hendon manager Gary McCann must be cursing his luck after heavy fog forced match officials to abandon his side's Ryman Premier clash with Billericay Town on Tuesday night.

The third-from-bottom Greens were leading 2-0 at Silver Jubilee Park when the deepening gloom, pictured, forced match officials to suspend play in the 35th minute and take the players off.

The Greens handed disappointed supporters of both sides tokens for free entry for when the fixture is eventually played as they left the club's new stadium.
