Milestone match for defender

Faversham Town's fans, players and officials paid tribute to Matthew Bourne on Tuesday night on his three hundredth appearance for the Ryman South Lilywhites.

The former Chatham Town, Dover Athletic, Folkestone Invicta and Sittingbourne defender, pictured, was congratulated before kicking off in his side's 1-1 draw with Hastings United at Salters Lane.

Faversham Town secretary Wendy Walker hailed the center-half as one of the club's most popular and consistent players since his arrival in 2010 after his milestone appearance.
