Millers bring back Lamar

By Ian Townsend

Keeper Johnson is a Miller once more

Aveley have announced the return to the club of goalkeeper Lamar Johnson.

Johnson was a fixture in the Millers first team during 2016/17, making forty one appearances and winning a host of club awards, before heading back to former club Grays Athletic. Last season he made thirty two appearances as both Grays and Aveley moved to Parkside, and during the current campaign has turned out most recently for South Central Division Waltham Abbey and, prior to that, Hertford Town- being one of a large number of players who left Hertingfordbury Park during February.

Johnson should be available for Aveley's next fixture, at home to Mildenhall Town on Saturday.
