Millers bring in Saturday reinforcements

Aveley announce a new signing in the run up to yesterday's kick off

In the lead up to yesterday's match with Mildenhall Town, Bostik North leaders Aveley announced the signing of a defensive reinforcement, Southend United full back Dan Humphreys arriving at Parkside on loan.

Humphreys, who you may recall turned out fifteen times from Lowestoft Town in the Bostik Premier Division last season, went straight into James Webster's side yesterday, being booked in the first half before being substituted in the second. For more on this story, head to the Aveley website here. The Millers picked up three points, winning 2-1.

After his return to his parent club from the Trawlerboys, Humphreys was part of an Under 23 squad which progressed to the final of the Central League Cup, eventually lifting the trophy with victory over MK Dons.
