Millers hit by fivefold blow

By Pitch Hero

PREMIER Division club Aveley, who finished third last season, their first at this level, have been hit by the loss of five players who have followed former manager Rod Stringer to Braintree Town.

The quintet are centre-back Michael Alaile, right-back Ryan Doyle, left-back Sam Holloway, midfielder Nicky Symons and striker Martin Tuohy.

It leaves new Millers manager Alan Kimble with a substantial rebuilding job as he bids to improve on last season's efforts.
