Ryman League Premier Division

Kingstonian went top of the early season Ryman Premier table on Monday night with a 3-0 win over Enfield at Kingsmeadow, writes Pitchero's Steve Whitney.

The opening goal was put into his own net by Enfield's Chris Wild on the half-hour mark as he tried to defend a corner. Ryan Moss made it two for the Ks on 73 minutes before Daniel Sweeney converted a low drive in stoppage time to complete the scoring.

Newly-promoted Dulwich Hamlet put in a dominant first half display at home against Hendon and established a two-goal first half lead with a brace of goals from Harry Ottaway.

Dulwich took the lead that their dominance deserved as Ottaway fired home from the edge of the box on 20 minutes. Ottaway then doubled the lead on 34 minutes as he scrambled home an Erhun Oztumer cross.

The second half was a more sedate affair as Hamlet played their possession football although Ottaway almost completed his hat-trick on 49 minutes. It was Dulwich who looked more likely to score as Kevin James had a goal disallowed for offside while Ellis Green hit the post on 74 minutes.

As the game drifted towards its end, Hendon were awarded a penalty for handball after a cross was volleyed straight at Dean Lodge and Jefferson Louis converted from the spot.

Bognor Regis Town, beaten 3-0 at home by Grays Athletic on the opening day, fought back from two-down to earn a 2-2 draw at Wealdstone.

Wes Parker gave the Stones a 22nd minute lead that Elliott Godfrey doubled on 35 minutes. However, two goals in two minutes by Harvey Whyte just before half-time eventually earned the Rocks a share of the spoils.
