More weekend travel chaos

Problems on the roads in Kent, and on the trains in Sussex

If you happen to be travelling to Kent for a match this weekend, beware of the M20! The motorway, capable of tripping up the unsuspecting motorist at the best of times- just like it did Hayes and Yeading United last night- will be closed between Junctions 4-6 from 10:00pm on Friday evening until 9:00am on Monday morning. This is apparently to replace a bridge that was knocked down a few weeks ago.

If you're heading to Sussex, then the trains might be your problem. Very little will be heading into or out of Victoria Station on Southern Rail due to engineering works between Balham and Selhurst, and many services are being transferred to London Bridge. Find out more here.

Sorry to be the bearers of bad tidings!
