Motormen hand out charity cash

By Peter Butcher

AS A result of the FA Cup success last season, Ryman North club Redbridge have received £2,000 from the FA Community Shield fund.

They will split the cash between three local charities: Haven House, a children's hospice, Uniting Friends, an inclusion group for adults with learning difficulties, and Redbridge Carers Support Service, an organisation which support and assistance for people who are caring for sick and disabled people.

The presentation will be made by the deputy mayor of the London Borough of Redbridge at 2pm this coming Saturday, prior to the league game against Chatham.
