Motty's booked for Bloomfields!

Needham Market’s fans, officials, players and sponsors are looking forward to be entertained by veteran broadcaster John Motson at the Ryman North club later this season.

Known and loved by millions after commentating on more than 1,500 games for television and radio since the 1970s before retiring from covering ‘live’ games in 2008, ’Motty’, pictured, is booked as the star guest and key speaker at sportsman’s dinner the Marketmen are hosting at Hintlesham Hall Golf Club on Thursday 16 October.

The 69-year-old, who was awarded an OBE for his skills and long service to the nation’s football fans, continues to cover games for the highlights on Match of the Day after last broadcasting live from the Euro 2008 final.
