New League website launched

By Peter Butcher

WELCOME to the new interactive Ryman League website which was launched on Friday.

The new league website, www.isthmian.co.uk, powered by Pitchero, the UK’s leading provider of football websites, promises to take fans and supporters closer to the action than ever before.

It includes a refreshed design, easier navigation, complete league and cup information, team and player statistics, video and photo sharing and all the latest news from across each division.

Additional features include a new match day centre which has been developed to provide supporters with real time match day updates across Twitter and Facebook.

Pitchero has also developed a new player registration system for the League, which will deliver a one-stop solution for the entire league office.

The website will work alongside an iPhone and Android app – due to launch prior to the start of the season – giving fans access to the latest league news and match results where ever they are, 24/7.

League Chairman Alan Turvey commented: “As one of the most successful football leagues in the country, our league website is an essential part of the service we provide to our member clubs and supporters. We recognised this was an area we needed to improve and Pitchero has proved to be the perfect partner to take the league website to the next level.

“The mobile apps, improved design and new features ensure our supporters can enjoy the latest online technology where ever they are. I believe it’s shaping up to be another great season and the new website will give the league the perfect platform to showcase this.”

Mark Fletcher, CEO of Pitchero, commented: “It has been a privilege to work with the Ryman Football League. This is a long-term partnership and we hope to develop a range of new features for the league and member clubs over the coming months.”
