Whitstable Town's new manager Will Graham has helped his chairman Gary Johnson secure a main home and away shirt sponsor for the upcoming Ryman South campaign.

The Oystermen announced on Tuesday that Fairweathers Solicitors LLP have agreed an initial one year deal to sponsor their first team kit after Graham introduced the local business to Johnson and other delighted officials at The Belmont.

The law firm has previously sponsored local and youth football in the area and Johnson, pictured unveiling the club's new home strip with the company's head Nick Fairweather, said: "It’s fantastic that a local and thriving business has backed the club at such an important time; the last two seasons having been record breaking for the club."

Established in April 2006 and now based at Estuary View in Whitstable, Fairweathers are best known for their medical negligence work but also have a thriving department dealing with Family, Child Care and Mental Health Review Tribunal cases. Above all, the local law firm's staff pride themselves on combining a robust, professional and specialist service with a caring and supportive approach to their clients.

Not all solicitors are the same and Johnson added: "Clearly, Nick is passionate about football and his local area. We look forward to building and developing upon this initial one year agreement with Nick and his staff.

"It’s an exciting phase in our continued growth and development and we are pleased to be linking up with such a progressive and local business."

Fairweather was equally as enthusiastic about his firm's new partnership with the Oystermen who reached the last 32 of the FA Trophy two seasons ago and achieved their highest ever league placing and points total in April when they finished in eighth spot with 71 points and also collected the Ryman League's Respect trophy in Ryman South for their disciplined displays and sportsmanship.

Fairweather said: “Having made the move from Canterbury to Whitstable two years ago this is an exciting opportunity to combine our wish to support the local community with a personal interest in local football and huge respect for Gary, Will and the club as a whole."

He added: "I very much hope and expect this to be the start of a long and mutually beneficial relationship between the club and the firm.”
