November's top bosses named!

By David Watters

Needham Market's Mark Morsley, Bury Town's Ben Chenery and Sam Denly at Herne Bay will soon be getting measured up for new suits after being named on Thursday as the winners of November's Macron and Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month accolades.

As well as being kitted out at Nicholas Rowe Tailoring's 7000 sq ft Suit City in Redhill, all three managers will be presented with inscribed glass trophies from Macron to record their achievements at upcoming fixtures.

The Ryman League's unique sponsorship partnership with Nicholas Rowe Tailoring kicked off last season. Under the terms of the sponsorship there is no restriction on the number of suits managers can win but joint bosses will have to collect more than one award with the monthly prizes restricted to one suit per winning club.

Morsley, Chenery and Denly won the Ryman League's fourth managerial awards of the campaign after all three enjoyed outstanding months guiding their sides.

In the Ryman's top flight, Morsley's newly promoted Marketmen have struggled at times since coming up. That all changed in November with Morsley guiding his side to four wins, a draw and a single defeat to climb away from trouble at the wrong end of the Ryman Premier table.

In Ryman North, the Blues are currently up to fifth and pushing for promotion under Chenery's guidance. In November, Chenery, now in his second season as Blues boss after taking over from Richard Wilkins last summer, led them to three wins in the league and victories over Herne Bay and Thurrock to reach the FA Trophy's first round proper and set up a home tie with Dulwich Hamlet.

Bay boss Denly masterminded his side's four wins and a draw in November to lift them to within two points of the play-off spots with games in hand on all their rivals to collect the Ryman South accolade.

As well as their success in the league, he also guided the club to the second qualifying round of the FA Trophy thanks to a 3-2 win at Walton Casuals. Ironically, Denly's side exited the competition after their only loss in November, a penalty shoot-out defeat at the hands of Chenery's Bury Town in a third qualifying round replay.
