Okonkwo heads to Greenwich

Grays Athletic have announced- here- that defender Geofrey Okonkwo has been released from his contract to join Greenwich Borough.

Okonkwo made his Athletic debut at the end of last season, and has become a big part of the first team squad this campaign, making twenty seven appearances. His last start was in the 2-2 draw with Felixstowe and Walton United earlier this month, and since then he has been a non-playing substitute for Jim Cooper's side.

He is expected to be part of the Borough squad for the trip to Sevenoaks Town tomorrow.
