Aveley announce four out- and one in

Aveley FC yesterday confirmed the departures from Parkside of Sam Bantick, Lamar Johnson, Amir Berkane and Adam Bailey-Dennis, but they then sweetened the blow by announcing the arrival of Tilbury centre back Darren Phillips.

Phillips started last season under Marc Harrison at Basildon United, a mainstay of the side as they stormed to the top of the North Division table, and was later part of the Dockers revival under the same manager, making twenty-one appearances for the Chadfields side. He was on the losing side twice against the Millers whilst playing for the Bees, but as a Docker saw a reversal of fortunes, being part of the side that defeated Aveley both home and away.
