Macron Team Performance of the Month Awards

Enfield Town and Heybridge Swifts are to set to collect their second performance accolades of the campaign after being named alongside Whyteleafe as Macron's Team Performance of the Month Award winners for March.

Both clubs kicked off 2015 by winning January's Macron awards and they'll now be presented with a second glass trophies from the sponsors to mark their latest achievements.

The trio of clubs were unveiled as the Ryman League's penultimate performance kings of the season in the Ryman Premier, Ryman South and Ryman North divisions after the monthly competition’s judges considered a shortlist of potential clashes and the form and circumstances behind each performance.

Enfield Town put the brakes on Maidstone United’s assault on the title with a 3-0 win at Gallagher Stadium to win January's honour and they were named for a second time for an equally impressive result against a title-chasing side, a 3-0 triumph at Margate's Hartsdown Park on Saturday 7 March courtesy of second half goals from Corey Whitely, Bobby Evyne and Ricky Gabriel.

If Towners manager Bradley Quinton is asked to collect the award, it will be his third presentation of the season since replacing George Borg after he collected October's Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month Award for the top flight.

Heybridge Swifts also won their first award in January for an impressive away win at a title-chasing rival under a new manager, Cliff Akurang guiding them to a 3-2 victory at Harlow Town in January.

He's now looking forward to seeing the work of his players and staff recognised with a second honour since his appointment in December, won for their 1-0 victory at league leaders Needham Market on Saturday 28 March, Joe Pearman scoring the winner on the hour mark.

Whyteleafe are ensured of a play-off spot in Ryman South after racking up five wins on the spin in March that has also earned manager John Fowler March's Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month Award and keeper Sheikh Ceesay the Ryman League's latest Precision Goalkeeping Golden Glove honour.

None was more impressive than their award-winning team performance at the home of champions Burgess Hill Town on Wednesday 18 March, Jason Thompson scoring the only goal of the game soon after the break at the Green Elephants Stadium.
