After their eighth-placed finish to the Ryman Premier campaign, Leiston are looking forward to taking on Lowestoft Town in the Suffolk Senior Cup Final.

The Blues and manager Richard Wilkins are preparing to take on the holders at Ipswich Town's Portman Road next Wednesday (May 4) after signing off their league campaign on Saturday with a 3-0 win over the Metropolitan Police at Imber Court.

The venue was announced at the weekend as tickets went on sale almost a decade to the day for a re-run of the 2006 final, a 3-2 thriller won by the Trawlerboys in extra-time.

Leiston beat Needham Market 1-0 at Victory Road to reach the final while Lowestoft needed extra-time to overcome Bury Town in their semi-final at Ram Meadow.

Advance tickets for the 7pm kick-off are priced at £8 for adults and £4 for the usual concessions. For more information and to purchase online visit the Suffolk FA's website at: www.suffolkfa.com.

Tickets priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions will also be available to purchase on the day of the game from the turnstiles in the Cobbold Stand which can be accessed via Portman Road.
