The former Sutton United coach pledged his future to the club until the end of the 2017-18 season on Sunday following his seventh-placed side's 3-1 weekend win over Hendon at the Longmead Stadium.
Mckimm succeeded Tommy Warrilow at the Angels in May 2014 following the club's relegation from National League South after six years coaching at Sutton United, the last two as head coach at Gander Green Lane.
Angels chairman Steve Churcher is delighted the 41-year-old is staying on after penning a new deal to stay at the helm however the campaign turns out.
Pictured alongside McKimm signing, Churcher said: "This was a unanimous decision by the board and we are delighted to have a manager of Steve's undoubted quality with us next season."
Former Sutton United, Margate FC, Ebbsfleet, Kingstonian and Hayes midfielder McKimm said: "Obviously, I'm very pleased that the board have shown their faith in me. Both myself and my family have a great affection for this club and the people who run it. This now allows me to start thinking about next season irrespective of where we might be playing."
