Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month Awards

Promotion-hunting bosses Gary McCann, Danny Chapman and John Fowler have scooped the Ryman League's penultimate Nicholas Rowe Tailoring Manager of the Month awards.

Hendon's McCann, Harlow Town's Chapman and Whyteleafe's Fowler are all looking forward to collecting their first managerial laurels of the campaign after being named as March's winners of Macron's monthly honours in the Ryman Premier, Ryman North and Ryman South divisions respectively.

As well as being presented with framed certificates to mark their achievements, the trio will be measured up for bespoke new suits by the Surrey-based suit and menswear specialists who signed a unique sponsorship partnership back in August to kit out all the Ryman’s top monthly managers this season.

Like all winners, they will choose from three colours at the long established company’s 7000 sq ft 'Suit City' in Redhill and there is no restriction on the number of suits managers can win for their monthly performances in Ryman League fixtures.

Hendon's long-serving manager McCann has been at the helm for a decade and wins the top flight's award for guiding his side to second in the table on the back of six wins and a draw in the league last month.

The Greens, who are now six points behind leaders Maidstone United but enjoy a game in hand, also booked their berth in Wednesday night's Robert Dyas League Cup Final against Grays Athletic with a 2-1 semi-final win over fellow promotion-hunters Margate at Earlsmead last month.

Chapman and his Hawks are also second, just a point behind leaders Needham Market going into the final two games of the Ryman North campaign.

Appointed in 2011 after making more than 200 appearances in defence for the club, Chapman will collect the division's honours for masterminding his side's four straight wins in the league while bagging ten goals along the way to keep them in contention for the title and automatic promotion.

Whyteleafe's Fowler and his side aren't in contention for even the runners-up spot in Ryman South but his players are assured of a play-off spot and a shot at promotion thanks to their results in March.

Fowler, who led the club back into the Ryman League last season as Southern Counties East League champions, was named as Macron's top manager for securing five wins on the spin, three of the key victories that helped guarantee their participation in the play-offs coming away from home.
