Property giants unveiled as new main sponsors

Hastings United will be sporting a new logo on their first team kit when they kick off in Ryman South next season after naming The Burney Property Group as their new main shirt sponsors.

United's new home and away kits for the 2015-16 campaign were unveiled on the club's website last week and will soon be available with the logo of the UK wide property development group adorning both strips after the Arrows announced the two year main shirt sponsorship deal on Thursday.

Founded in 1997 by Daren Burney, one of the pioneers behind the massive development of London Docklands, The Burney Property Group has since built up a substantial portfolio of both residential and commercial properties throughout the UK.

In the statement released by delighted officials at The Pilot Field, he said: "Due to the company's increased development activity in Hastings, and in the surrounding areas, we decided that it was important to support the local football club.

"We were impressed by the board of directors' vision and plans for the club, which is healthy and exciting for the town. We were also pleased to see the assistance, help and support that the club receives from its local volunteer workforce, and from its supporters' club.

"From this, it is obvious that there is a real community feeling and a desire to see the club prosper, and we are happy to play a part in making this happen."

Hastings United chairman Dave Ormerod said: "We are excited by this new major partnership and are looking forward to seeing the players wearing the shirts for what will hopefully be a memorable season ahead."

United's new home and change kits are available from their local Macron store or online from the Ryman League's official suppliers of benchwear kit.
