Ramadan-a-ding-dong!

Ram Meadow rolls out the red carpet for the return of their former hero

Bury Town have announced- to the delight of their supporters, and the undoubted dejection of opposition defences- the return to Ram Meadow of striker Cemal Ramadan.

Ramadan- who made goal scoring look easy last season- was a hot property during the summer, eventually signing for Leiston as they prepared for their first season in the Evo-Stik Central Premier. But when he announced at the weekend that he was leaving the Victory Road side, manager Ben Chenery was quickly on the phone!

He will be in contention to play against an Ipswich Town XI in a friendly on Wednesday, and then is expected to line up against Tilbury at the weekend.

In other Bury Town news, striker Tommy Hughes has signed on loan from the Ipswich Town Academy.
