Cugley, a long-time admirer of the 30-year-old, pictured after signing a new deal at the Gallagher Stadium in May following the club's promotion as Ryman Premier champions, brought him in on Wednesday as cover for six key league games over September with a number of his current squad struggling for fitness.
Rogers previously played a couple of games on loan at Cheriton Road but was recalled by the Stones midway through his spell. Rogers has also enjoyed successful spells at both Margate and Dartford and a delighted Cugley said: “I’m really pleased to have got him. He gives us just the kind of experienced we need to get through the busy month we’ve got ahead of us."

He added: “James is an excellent player who’s done well wherever he’s been and I know that he can do a good job for us.”
